Do you suffer from psoriasis or eczema?

Updated: Jan 19, 2020

Psoriasis and eczema are caused by the immune system. Psoriasis is a chronic disease that comes and goes. The goal is to stop the skin cells from growing rapidly. Unfortunately there is no cure, but the good news is Serenity Aesthetics OC has solutions and GREAT in-expensive at home remedies!

Psoriasis can be triggered from stress and outbreaks can be very embarrassing. Dermatologists like to prescribe steroidal creams that can have long-term effects as with any long-term use of medications.

Serenity Aesthetics OC promotes health and wellness. We like to take a more naturopathic approach. Before we get in to the solutions, lets first discuss eczema.

Eczema is also known as Atopic Dermatitis and resembles an allergic reaction, but it is not. Eczema affects a number of children. Studies show allergies play a huge role in outbreaks. A food journal is a great way to check for food allergies. You can add or remove specific food groups from your diet, then calculate the results based upon outbreaks. Chemicals and substances also trigger outbreaks, the most common are fabrics, fibers, fragrances, laundry soap, fabric softener, etc. etc.

If your child suffers from eczema it is really hard for as a parent to watch them suffer in misery and discomfort! Don’t worry we have you covered!

Our solution for both psoriasis and eczema is very simple-Old School Listerine! Yes, mouthwash! Back in the 1800s Listerine was used as surgical antiseptic. On days you are having a breakout simply take 2-3 capfuls of the Old School Gold Listerine and fill the bathtub with cool water, only fill the tub ¼ full. This is a treatment, DO NOT wash the body with any soap or use any other bathing products. Soak for 10 minutes and then pat dry. Emu oil, which is from a bird, can be placed on the affected areas. Emu oil is an Omega 6 & 3 fatty acid.

If you do not wish to take a treatment bath, you may place Listerine in a small bowl and dip cotton balls to the affected area. DO NOT DOUBLE DIP. Cotton balls are very inexpensive, so ensure you are using a new one with each dip.

If anyone has any questions please do not hesitate to contact us. We love to hear the results you have experienced with our home remedies!
